It’s just one more way Hilti is there for you, from start to finish. we want to hear from you CONCRETE BREAKING When working with concrete on the jobsite, accidents can occur when operators lose focus. It is important to stay vigilant and keep safety top of mind while breaking concrete. • Inspect the tool before operation to ensure it is in good working condition and not damaged. If damaged or not functioning properly, discontinue use until it is fixed • Ensure everyone wears appropriate personal protection such as eye protection, a hard hat, hearing protection, dust protection, safety shoes and gloves • Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool DECKING While decking has traditionally been done with fastening tools, new stand up decking power tools allow for work to be done with greater comfort and convenience. • Mark the deck before firing — this helps ensure that the under beam is hit, thereby reducing the chance of fragments, blow throughs, and/or damage to the tool • Keep the grips dry, clean and free of oil and grease • Wear suitable eye protection, a hard hat, ear protection and protective gloves while the tool is in use and ensure others in the vicinity do the same Click here for more information on health and safety
